We are a community-based healthcare clinic that provides primary care and preventive care services to all, regardless of ability to pay and without regard to insurance status.

What Medical Services Does Southern California Medical Center Provide?

At Southern California Medical Center, we offer general medical and primary care services. Our services are available in many areas in Southern California. We are a low-cost health clinic, and we treat underinsured and uninsured patients. Our doctors follow evidence-based guidelines. Call (833) 999-7262 for after-hours support.

These are some of the primary care services we offer:
  • Physicals
  • Sick visits
  • Laboratory services and testing
  • Vaccines and immunizations
  • Chronic disease management
  • Infectious disease treatment
  • Blood pressure screenings
  • Sexually transmitted disease treatment and HIV prevention (PrEP)
  • Health education and outreach
  • Nutritional counseling
  • Specialist referrals
  • Well-child checkups

Our doctors are dedicated to providing quality health care for low-income and uninsured families.

We offer a wide range of options for preventive care, including nutritional counseling and screenings for many diseases. We also offer physicals. These exams can catch health problems early. For those with chronic conditions, we also offer management services.

Our immunization services include the COVID booster and all of the vaccinations that children need for school.

Sexual health care is another important service we provide at our comprehensive health center. From testing to HIV prevention, we can offer the support you need. For HIV prevention, we can prescribe pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP). This medicine helps reduce the risk of contracting HIV from sex or injection drug use.

We also offer well-child checkups to support the health of each child in our community. During these checks, we track the child’s growth and development to find or prevent any health problems.

We are passionate about serving the underserved and offering help to those who need it most. With our community clinics in Long Beach, Pomona, El Monte, Pico Rivera, and Van Nuys, we can address all of our patients’ needs across a variety of specialties.

Our multilingual staff and call center includes people who speak Spanish, Farsi, Korean, and Khmer. We focus on serving the Hispanic, Korean, Iranian, and Cambodian communities. Our health center is also one of the few low-cost health care clinics that accepts Medi-Cal.

We understand that not everyone can afford to take time off from work for appointments. If you need to see specialists, we can make it possible for you to see them in the same location and on the same day.

If you do not have insurance and want quality health care, turn to Southern California Medical Center. We offer many more patient services for those who are uninsured. These services include dental care, pediatric care, pregnancy care, vision care, mental health services, physical therapy, and orthopedic care.
Southern California Medical Center Participates in These Programs

When it comes to community outreach and education, we participate in several helpful programs.

We proudly take part in Every Woman Counts (EWC). This program offers breast cancer and cervical cancer screenings for patients through the California Department of Health Care Services.

Southern California Medical Center also takes part in the Child Health and Disability Prevention (CHDP) program, which offers preventive services to underinsured or uninsured children and youth in California. Through this program, enrolled physicians can offer health assessments. The CHDP also helps patients travel to medical appointments and get access to diagnostic treatment services.

We also take part in the Family Planning, Access, Care, & Treatment (Family PACT) program. This program offers family planning services, including birth control access, to low-income individuals.

Southern California Medical Center is dedicated to providing quality medical care for all of our patients’ needs. Participating in these programs makes that easier to do.
