Our doctors are dedicated to providing quality health care for low-income and uninsured families.
We offer a wide range of options for preventive care, including nutritional counseling and screenings for many diseases. We also offer physicals. These exams can catch health problems early. For those with chronic conditions, we also offer management services.
Our immunization services include the COVID booster and all of the vaccinations that children need for school.
We also offer well-child checkups to support the health of each child in our community. During these checks, we track the child’s growth and development to find or prevent any health problems.
We are passionate about serving the underserved and offering help to those who need it most. With our community clinics in Long Beach, Pomona, El Monte, Pico Rivera, and Van Nuys, we can address all of our patients’ needs across a variety of specialties.
We understand that not everyone can afford to take time off from work for appointments. If you need to see specialists, we can make it possible for you to see them in the same location and on the same day.
When it comes to community outreach and education, we participate in several helpful programs.
We proudly take part in Every Woman Counts (EWC). This program offers breast cancer and cervical cancer screenings for patients through the California Department of Health Care Services.
Southern California Medical Center also takes part in the Child Health and Disability Prevention (CHDP) program, which offers preventive services to underinsured or uninsured children and youth in California. Through this program, enrolled physicians can offer health assessments. The CHDP also helps patients travel to medical appointments and get access to diagnostic treatment services.
We also take part in the Family Planning, Access, Care, & Treatment (Family PACT) program. This program offers family planning services, including birth control access, to low-income individuals.
