The health and safety of mothers and their babies depends on having access to prenatal care.

Traveling to visit many different doctors can be difficult. That’s why we have the technology on-site to help all of our patients receive the services they need.

At our comprehensive health centers, we provide ultrasounds for uninsured mothers. Ultrasounds allow you to see your baby growing. They help us check the baby’s breathing, heart rate, muscle movement, and development. Ultrasounds can also track the health of the amniotic fluid and the baby’s size.

We know that the outcomes of pregnancies are more positive when mothers receive routine pregnancy care. And we strive to provide this for our patients. We perform regular checkups with full physicals, weight monitoring, and more.

To keep you and the baby as healthy as possible, we also offer nutritional guidance. We can provide the supplements you need during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

As part of our comprehensive health care services, we provide access to contraceptives at no cost. We also perform free pregnancy tests.

You can also receive regular STD testing. If you have a sexually transmitted disease or infection, we offer the treatment you need.
At Southern California Medical Center, we are as concerned about your mental well-being as we are about your physical health. That is especially true for women going through a pregnancy.

Psychosocial counseling can help you learn coping skills and stress management. We offer individual, group, and family therapy sessions with professional counselors.

Southern California Medical Center is a free clinic for those who qualify. We provide services for people in Pomona, Van Nuys, Long Beach, El Monte, and Pico Rivera who do not have health insurance. If you need comprehensive medical care, we can help.

In addition to pregnancy care, we offer well woman care including annual check-ups and in-office mammograms, primary medical care, orthopedics, and physical therapy. We can also provide vision care, dental care, mental health care, and pediatric care. You do not have to worry about the cost of transportation to your appointments. We offer free transport to our centers as well.

Because we know managing a family and a job takes up a lot of time, we also make it possible for you to see specialists at our locations. You can see them on the same day as your other health appointments.
